The Acutonics® Healing System is based on Taoism – a philosophy stating that everything in Creation has inherent within it, and adheres to, a natural rhythm between light and shadow. The Tao, or Undifferentiated Wholeness, allows both light and shadow (yin and yang), to coexist in balance. The symbol for Yin and Yang, I Ching and the Tao all originated when the Ancient Chinese observed the movement of the Sun through the 4 seasons, measuring the length of shadow and light, resulting in this symbol. |

Originally, Oriental Medicine included astrological analysis, with the five branches of health being, in order of priority - Diet, Exercise, Meditation, Astrology, and Acupuncture. Although Chinese astrology is very different than Western, it is the archetypes that “speak” to a culture, and in the West, we use the archetypes with which we’ve become accustomed. The planets represent archetypes that help us recognize and transform negative patterns (shadow) that can cause one to be ill at ease (dis-eased). Applying the planetary frequencies represented by these archetypes restores balance to energies that have become polarized or stuck. |
